Empowered Mind



I know we have a long list of things to work on in our lives, but as a self-care advocate I believe ¬†that we have to put ourselves on that list every day or we are going to train ourselves that we don’t matter!

Here are some ways to say to yourself this today that you matter:


  1. Make a list of the things that you need, and do at least one of those things first before you do anything else. It could be writing in your journal, meditating, going for a walk, watching a Netflix show, etc.
  2. Do one of the things you love just because you need to treat yourself ‘just because’. You are worth it! If you pour love into yourself, you can pour love out of yourself!
  3. Take some time to clarify the different areas in your life that you’d like to be working on, and do one small thing.

I believe that if every week you’re making an improvement by one percent, by the end of the year you’ll see that you have grown monumentally.
